Terms of Use
Please read these terms carefully — they govern your use of Greengate.
Last updated 19 July 2026
01 Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Greengate Technologies Inc. and its affiliates (“Greengate”, “we”, “us”). They apply to the Greengate mobile app, website and related services (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
02 Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use Greengate. To open an account we are required to verify your identity, and you agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials and device secure and do not share them.
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
03 Using the Services
Greengate lets you hold supported fiat and crypto balances, send funds, and swap between currencies at the rates shown in the app. Availability of specific features may vary by country and is subject to applicable law.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not use Greengate for fraud, money laundering, financing of terrorism, or any activity that breaches sanctions or other applicable regulations.
04 Fees and exchange rates
Applicable fees and the exchange rate for a transaction are displayed before you confirm it. Once you start a transfer, the quoted rate is held for the period stated in the app. Rates shown on our marketing pages are illustrative and may differ from live rates at the time you transact.
05 Crypto assets and risk
Crypto assets are volatile and their value can go down as well as up. Crypto balances are not covered by any deposit protection scheme, and you may lose some or all of the value you hold. You are responsible for deciding whether any transaction is appropriate for you.
06 Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or close your account where required by law, where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse, or where you breach these Terms. Where practical and lawful, we will give you notice. You may close your account at any time after settling any outstanding balances.
07 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Greengate is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
08 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
